Terms of Use
[Chapter 1 General Rules]
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to regulate the terms and conditions of use and procedures for the Internet community service (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) provided by Full Gospel Nations Theological Seminary (hereinafter referred to as the “Seminary”) affiliated with the Assemblies of God in Korea in accordance with the Telecommunications Business Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization, etc.
Article 2 (Notice and Compliance of Terms and Conditions)
(1) The contents of these Terms and Conditions shall take effect by posting them on the service screen or notifying the members in other ways.
(2) The seminary may change these Terms and Conditions at its own discretion, and the changed Terms and Conditions shall take effect by announcing them in the same manner as in Paragraph 1.
Article 3 (Terms and Conditions)
Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the provisions of the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization, etc., and other relevant laws and regulations.
Article 4 (Definitions of Terms)
The terms used in these Terms are defined below:
(1) Member: A person who has signed a service use contract with the seminary and has been given a user ID
(2) ID: A combination of letters, numbers, and special characters selected by the member and approved by the company for the identification of members and the use of the member’s services.
(3) Password (PW): A combination of letters and numbers set by the member himself or herself to protect the member’s confidentiality
(4) Operator: A person selected by the seminary for the overall management and smooth operation of the service.
(5) Termination: An act in which the company or a member cancels the service contract after the service is opened.
[Chapter 2 Service Use Agreement]
Article 5 (Establishment of Contract of Use)
(1) If a member clicks the “I agree” button to the question “Do you agree to the above terms and conditions to apply for the use contract?” at the time of application for use, the member is deemed to agree to these terms and conditions.
(2) The contract of use shall be established when the seminary approves the member’s application for use after examination.
Article 6 (Application for Use)
(1) To apply for use, you must apply online by recording the requirements on the application form prescribed by the seminary.
(2) All member information entered in the online application form shall be considered as actual data, and users who do not enter their real name or real information will not be legally protected and may be restricted from using the service.
Article 7 : Consent to the Use of Member Information
(1) The seminary’s privacy policy applies to members’ personal information.
(2) The personal information of the members required by the seminary to be included in the application form pursuant to Article 6 shall be used for the purpose of fulfilling this Agreement of Use and providing services under the Agreement of Use.
(3) In order to make it easier for members to use the seminary and its affiliated services, membership information may be provided to companies affiliated with the seminary. However, the seminary must notify the affiliated company, the purpose of the provision, and the contents of the membership information to be provided in advance and obtain the consent of the members before providing the member information.
(4) Members can view and modify their personal information at any time by modifying their member information.
(5) When a member enters his or her membership information in the application form and applies to the seminary in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the seminary shall be deemed to consent to the collection, use, and provision of the membership information described in the application form in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Article 8 (Acceptance of Application for Use)
(1) The seminary may approve a membership when the member has accurately stated all the matters set forth in Article 6 and makes an application for use, except for cases 2 and 3.
(2) The seminary may “withhold” its approval of an application for use if any of the following applies:
If there is no room for the facility
If there is a technical problem
If it is difficult to consent to use due to other company circumstances
(3) The seminary may not “approve” any of the following applications:
is not your real name.
If you apply using the name of me or someone else.
If you make a false statement about the required information when applying for multiple uses.
In the event that the application is made for the purpose of disturbing the well-being or morals of the society.
When the application requirements set by the other seminary are not met
Article 9 (Modification of Contractual Terms)
If the information entered in the application is changed, the member must modify it online, and the member is responsible for any problems that may arise due to the non-change.
[ Chapter 3 Obligations of the Contracting Parties]
Article 10 (Duties of Seminaries)
(1) The seminary shall not disclose or distribute the personal information of its members to a third party without the consent of the person concerned in connection with the provision of services. However, there are exceptions when there is a request from a national agency in accordance with the provisions of laws such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications, when there is a purpose to investigate a crime, when there is a request from the Information and Communication Ethics Committee, or when there is a request in accordance with the procedures prescribed by other relevant laws and regulations.
(2) Within the scope of Paragraph 1, the seminary may prepare and use statistical data on the personal information of all or part of its members in connection with its work, and may send cookies to the members’ computers through the service. In this case, the member may refuse to receive cookies or change the settings of the browser of the computer used to warn about the receipt of cookies.
Article 11 (Obligations of Members)
(1) Members shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the service.
Fraudulently using another member’s ID
or Reproducing information obtained from the service for purposes other than the use of the member without the prior consent of the company, or using it for publication or broadcasting, or providing it to a third party.
Acts that infringe the company’s copyrights, third parties’ copyrights, and other rights.
Distributing information, sentences, figures, etc., that violate public order and morals to others.
Actions that are objectively judged to be related to a crime
Acts that violate other laws and regulations.
(2) Members shall comply with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the service use guides or precautions.
(3) Members shall comply with the restrictions posted by the seminary in the service announcement or separately announced by the seminary for each content.
(4) Members shall not use the service to engage in business activities without the prior consent of the seminary, and the Company shall not be responsible for the results of the business activities and the results of the members’ use of business activities in violation of the Terms and Conditions. Members are obligated to pay damages to the seminary for such business activities.
(5) A member may not transfer or gift the right to use the service or any other contractual status to another person without the express consent of the seminary, and may not provide it as collateral.
[Chapter 4 Use of Services]
Article 12 (Obligations of Members to Manage Members’ ID< and Password<>)>
(1) The member is responsible for the management of the ID and password. Members are responsible for all consequences caused by negligent management and misuse of ID and password given to members.
(2) In the event that his/her ID is used illegally, the member must immediately notify the Company.
Article 13 (Obligations Regarding Members’ Websites)
(1) Members shall not register content that violates public order and morals or other rights such as copyright of a third party on their website. If such content is uploaded, the member is responsible for all consequences.
(2) Members shall manage the website established under their own responsibility, and shall make a backup copy of it and keep it.
Article 14 (Provision of Information)
The seminary may provide various information that the member deems necessary during the use of the service to the member by e-mail or letter mail, and the member may refuse to receive the information in the membership application menu and the member information modification menu if he or she does not wish to do so.
Article 15 (Posts of Members)
The seminary may delete the contents of the service posted or registered by a member without prior notice if it is determined that it falls under any of the following clauses.
(1) In the event that the content slanders another member or a third party or damages the reputation of the member through slander
(2) When the content violates public order and morals.
(3) When the content is deemed to be related to a criminal act.
(4) In the event that the content infringes the copyright of the seminary, the copyright of a third party, or other rights.
(5) If the posting period prescribed by the seminary has been exceeded.
(6) When a member posts pornographic content or links to pornographic sites on his/her homepage and bulletin board.
(7) In the event that it is judged that there is a violation of other relevant laws and regulations.
Article 16 (Copyright of Postings)
The rights to the materials posted on the Service are as follows:
(1) The rights and responsibilities of the postings belong to the poster, and the seminary will not use them for commercial purposes other than posting them on the service without the consent of the poster. However, this is not the case in the case of commercial use, and the seminary has the right to publish in the service.
(2) Members may not commercially use the materials posted on the service, such as processing or selling information obtained through the service.
Article 17 (Service Hours)
(1) In principle, the use of the service is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, unless there is a special impediment to the work or technology of the seminary. However, this does not apply to the days or times set by the seminary due to the need for periodic inspections.
(2) Seminaries may be divided into certain ranges, and the available hours may be set separately for each range. In this case, the contents will be notified in advance.
Article 18 (Responsibility for Use of Services)
Members are prohibited from using the service to sell illegal products, and in particular, they are prohibited from hacking, money-making advertisements, commercial activities through pornographic websites, and illegal distribution of commercial software, except as specifically permitted in an express written statement signed by authorized staff of the seminary. The seminary is not responsible for the results and losses of business activities that occur in violation of this provision, as well as legal actions such as detention by related authorities.
Article 19 (Suspension of Service Provision)
(1) The seminary may suspend the provision of services in any of the following cases:
When it is unavoidable due to construction such as repair of facilities for service
or in the event that the telecommunications service provider stipulated in the Telecommunications Business Act suspends the telecommunications service.
If there are any other force majeure reasons
(2) The seminary may restrict or suspend all or part of the service in the event of a national emergency, power outage, failure of service facilities, or congestion of service use, etc., which interferes with the normal use of the service.
[Chapter 5 Termination of Contract and Restriction of Use]
Article 20 (Termination of Contract and Restriction of Use)
(1) When a member wishes to terminate the service contract, the member must apply for termination to the seminary online.
(2) If a member of the seminary commits any of the following acts, the seminary may terminate the service contract without prior notice or suspend the use of the service for a fixed period of time.
steals someone else’s service ID and password
or intentionally interfering with the operation of the service.
If the name you signed up for is not your real name
If the same user double-registers with a different ID
In the event that the person intentionally disseminates content that is disturbing public order and morals.
When a bar member plans or executes the use of the service for the purpose of hindering the national interest or social public interest,
or if the member damages the reputation of another person or acts at a disadvantage
In the event that a large amount of information is transmitted or advertising information is transmitted for the purpose of interfering with the stable operation of the service.
In the case of distributing computer virus programs that cause malfunction of information and communication equipment or destruction of information, etc.
Infringing the intellectual property rights of CHA Seminary, other members, or third parties;
If there is a request for correction by an external agency such as the Information and Communication Ethics Committee, or if the Election Commission has received an authoritative interpretation in relation to illegal election campaigning.
In the case of unlawful use of other people’s personal information, user (ID) and password (PW)
In the event
that the information obtained using the service information of the PA Seminary is reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without the prior consent of the seminary. In the event that a member posts pornographic content on his or her homepage or bulletin board or links to a pornographic site.
In case of violation of these Terms and Conditions and other terms and conditions set by the seminary.
[ Chapter 6 Compensation for Damages, etc.]
Article 21 (Indemnification)
The seminary shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the member in connection with the use of the service while the service is free of charge, unless it is due to the seminary’s intentional negligence.
Article 22 (Disclaimer)
(1) The seminary shall be exempted from liability for the provision of services in the event that it is unable to provide services due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.
(2) The seminary is not responsible for any obstacles in the use of the service due to reasons attributable to the members.
(3) The seminary shall not be liable for any loss of revenue expected by members from the use of the service, and shall not be liable for any other damages resulting from the data obtained through the service.
(4) The seminary is not responsible for the reliability and accuracy of information, data, and facts posted by members on the Service.
Article 23 (Court of Jurisdiction)
In the event of a lawsuit arising out of the use of the service, such as fees, the seminary shall have exclusive jurisdiction over the court having jurisdiction over the location of the seminary.
[Addendum]
These Terms and Conditions shall be effective from March 14, 2024.
